The hotel is located close to the Kurfürstendamm: one of to the most famous boulevards in the world, located in the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. The surrounding area features many museums, theatres and galeries, as well as the International Trade Centre Berlin and various places of interest, plus the central stations and airports.

The Kurfeurst Hotel has its origins in 1900, when it was a residence for upper middle class Berlin families. During the post-war years in was used as business premises. After a change of owner in 1985 and a generous modernisation, it reopened as a hotel/pension. The most recent refurbishment was carried out in 2002. Today, all of the property’s 36 spacious, Old Berlin-style guestrooms are equipped with shower/toilet, radio, TV, minibar, hairdryer and safe. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning from 07.30 - 10.00.
