The Alsterhof Hotel is housed in a modern, 7-storey building with a very 1990s-style granite and glass façade. The medium sized lobby is attractively appointed with grey tiles. The reception desk is to the right of the entrance and opposite there is a bar and seating area, furnished with blue leather chairs. Also medium sized, the 200 guestrooms are colour co-ordinated with beech wood furnishings. They are very bright and airy and offer business travellers the latest technological standards. The hotel’s Alsters Restaurant, on the lower ground floor, boasts a stylish atmosphere and offers guests a range of carefully selected regional and international dishes, while the obliging and attentive staff provides the very best service. The beer garden gives you the chance to lean back in a loom chair and enjoy a traditional "Berliner Weisse mit Schuss" – a light beer with a shot of berry juice in it.
